Fulton, NY -- New 105 MGY Corn to Ethanol Plant Control System
FeedForward has been awarded a contract and has now completed the design work on the control system for a new 105MGY Ethanol Plant for Northeast Biofuels. The plant, to be located in Fulton, NY, is being designed and built by Lurgi.
The plant will use the Yokogawa CS3000 DCS. A Foundation Fieldbus Network will be used for the analog devices, a DeviceNet Network will be used for Motor Control Centers, and an AS-I Network will be used for discrete I/O. Under separate contract FeedForward is providing the control system for the Dryers, integrated to the main ethanol plant control system. FeedForward has now completed initial design work on these networks and has procured the Yokogawa equipment. The panel enclosures have been fabricated and the system successfully passed the Factory Acceptance Test. We are in the process of system checkout and startup at the site.
